He is known for merging broad-edge nib calligraphy — spanning Blackletter, Gothic, and Devanagari scripts — with painting, creating works that carry the verses of the Bhagavad Gita into visual, meditative form.

He has served as faculty at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), where he mentored the 98th Foundation Course batch of Indian Civil Servants in calligraphy, and has presented his work to dignitaries including the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu. Through his studio, Sanshine Art, he works to carry Indian spiritual and cultural heritage into contemporary calligraphic art.

Artist Statement :

My work sits at the intersection of script and spirit. Using the broad-edge nib — the same tool behind centuries of Blackletter and Gothic manuscript tradition — I render words and shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita in Devanagari, layered with painting and colour. Each piece is built to be more than decorative: it is meant to slow the viewer down, the way a hand-copied verse once slowed the scribe who wrote it.

My paintings return again and again to a single question: what remains when the body is gone? They sit with death, the mortality of body and mind, and the immortality of the soul beneath it — the invisible realms the eye cannot see but the Gita insists are real. Solitude,
ash, surrender to the divine — these are not themes I illustrate from a distance; they are states I try to place the viewer inside.

I do not intend these works to be looked at and moved past.
